Asheville and all of Western North Carolina has suffered (and continues to weather) devastating effects from Hurricane Helene. The good news is that Citizen Vinyl and our staff are safe.
While we’re not currently open to the public, our record pressing facility has been able to continue on schedule — more on that below. Our public events are cancelled for the time being, as we are without water. We will continue to share updates through our socials as we know more.
Citizen Vinyl remains committed to serving our community. For those in the Asheville area, we are providing extension cords to charge devices as well as public wifi. You are welcome to use our outdoor space and the lobby of the Citizen Times building at 14 O. Henry Ave.

On Sunday, September 15, Citizen Vinyl hosted Moses Sumney for an in-store performance. During the standing-room only show, Moses performed his debut EP, Mid-City Island, in its entirety.
