Michael Hutchence — front man of Australian rock band INXS — passed away in 1997, but fortunately his music didn’t die with him. “a hidden treasure of unreleased music from Hutchence continues to emerge, shedding light on his prolific creativity,” revealed Post-Punk.com.
“Danny Saber, a distinguished producer and Hutchence’s close collaborator, renowned for his work with icons such as Madonna, the Rolling Stones, and U2, has dedicated himself to bringing these unfinished pieces to fruition.”
The result: MKH — set for release on November 28 / Black Friday this fall — on limited edition yellow vinyl as well as a limited edition vinylkey® version. The album is available for pre-order now on the Citizen Soundcheck platform.

Experience the vibrant energy of Michael Hutchence’s MKH with this limited-edition clear yellow vinyl, proudly pressed at Citizen Vinyl. This edition offers fans a visually striking and sonically rich experience. Available exclusively through Citizen Soundcheck.
Produced, performed, and mixed by the renowned Danny Saber, known for his work with artists like David Bowie, U2, and Madonna, this album showcases Hutchence’s dynamic artistry across seven compelling tracks:
Notable contributions include Bernard Fowler’s choral vocals on “Save My Life” and Nick McCabe’s distinctive guitar work on “One-Way.”
“It’s been a little over a year since Boss Sonics released ‘One-Way’ and ‘Save My Life’ in what has been a deeply personal, two-decade journey for me,” says Saber. “Along the way, I’ve experienced incredible highs, and some moments that were far from easy. It felt like a cosmically orchestrated opera, one that has now brought us to a moment where we can finally complete this epic path and share the remaining unreleased songs with the care, quality, and integrity that an artist of Michael Hutchence’s caliber deserves.”

Embrace a modern take on classic sound with the full album vinylkey® edition. This limited release boasts a distinctive splatter vinyl design. Combining aesthetic appeal with high-quality audio, this edition delivers the powerful tracks but also serves as a tribute to Hutchence’s enduring influence.
“I’m supremely confident that Mike would have been just as excited as I am about the groundbreaking fan engagement vinylkey technology that the incredible team at Citizen Vinyl has built for all of us music fans,” says Saber. “I can’t wait to unveil these final songs in all their full glory to the constellation of dedicated fans who’ve kept Michael’s spirit alive all these years. To paraphrase a great man:
‘This is not the beginning of the end… It’s the end of the beginning.'”
