The sold out Resonance Sessions, created in the aftermath of Hurricane Helene by Asheville, NC-based Parkway Studios and proudly pressed at Citizen Vinyl, has raised nearly $15,000 to benefit the music community of Madison County, NC.

“With such an amazing response from the public surrounding this project we have decided to purchase a second batch of 300,” says Parkway Studios Director + Producer Caroline Aylward.
Recorded and filmed in the gutted bones of the Old Marshall Jail, the sessions include poignant and uplifting performances by more than 30 Western North Carolina artists such as Rising Appalachia, River Whyless, Avey Tare (Animal Collective), Tyler Ramsey, Scott McMicken (Dr. Dog), Natalie Jane Hill, traditional mountain ballad singers, and more.

This and other hurricane recovery fundraising albums that we’ve produced and pressed are prime examples of how we strive to put our name into action, as engaged and active members of our community.
