CONNOR LAW:
Connor Law is a freelance bassist, bandleader and composer based in Asheville, NC. He got his start in the music business after graduating from UNCA in 2017 by going on the road as a tour manager for the progressive bluegrass band, Jon Stickley Trio. After leaving that position he realized his passion was in performance, and more specifically, jazz performance. He began working as a full time musician in Asheville in 2018 and has been performing with many of the top musicians in the area since then.
ADAM ROSE:
Adam Rose is a guitarist, composer and multi-instrumentalist originally from Philadelphia. He learned to play jazz at the Philadelphia Clef Club and studied with jazz legends including Jimmy Heath, Reggie Workman, Mickey Roker, and Jimmy Bruno.
Adam lived and performed in NYC while attending the New School for jazz + contemporary music. While in NYC he performed in many clubs + settings, worked as a producer and audio engineer for independent bands, and composed music for films.
After moving to Durham, NC Adam became a graduate assistant at NCCU and earned a masters degree in composition and arranging. In 2022 he released his first jazz album as a bandleader entitled “Vibes + Tribes.”
Since moving to Asheville in 2022 Adam has continued to compose and perform. He maintains a busy performance schedule throughout Asheville, South Carolina, and Tennessee. He looks forward to further artistic growth and the development of creative relationships within the music community of Asheville and beyond.
