Citizen Vinyl is proud to be part of Live at Rare Bird Farm by Canadian folk-artist Cat Clyde. The album was recorded during a weekend of sold-out concerts this past July at the dreamy Rare Bird Farm — the record’s namesake — in the Appalachian Mountains outside of Asheville, NC.
On Giving Tuesday, Clyde announced the release of a limited edition benefit vinyl and digital pre-order available only on Bandcamp. During Bandcamp Friday on December 6, 100% of proceeds from this album will be donated to regional organization Bounty & Soul, which has been providing food and supplies to areas hit hard by Hurricane Helene.
The live album, pressed at Citizen Vinyl, features solo performances of songs from Cat’s previous full-length albums Down Rounder and Hunters Trance, an a capella cover of “Been Drinking” by Vera Hall, and “Where Is My Love,” a brand new, exclusive tune that Cat has been debuting at live shows.
