Part of the experience at Citizen Vinyl will be a vinyl-themed cafe and bar, headed up by a team that is dedicated to keeping the heart in Asheville. Chef Graham House, who grew up in Brevard and earned his chops in San Francisco, and Susannah Gebhart of OWL Bakery, are collaborating on a playful menu that finds the soulful spot where nostalgic deli foods meet WNC’s vibrant local gastro-ecology.
Session will open from 11am-7pm in the first phase. You can grab an early coffee and pastry, have a soulful lunch meeting, or gather in mid-afternoon with friends for a refreshing drink. In 2021, Session will evolve into evening hours and an expanded menu to round out the experience of the grand space and the team’s creative programming. Vinyl will be spinning all day, of course, and if you grab a new record in the shop, you can sit with your inspired coffee/cocktail/sandwich and give it a listen.
We are able to source our ingredients locally thanks to: Hickory Nut Gap / Sunburst Trout Farm / Farm to Home / New Roots Market Garden / Highgate Farms / Pigman Goods / Chop Shop Butchery / Lees One Fortunate Farm.
