A classic space for timeless sounds, Citizen Studios is the modern rebirth of the historic WWNC radio station studios. The newly renovated space now consists of a large control room and a communal multipurpose room for recording, rehearsing and events.
Originally the live performance room for radio broadcasts, Studio A has been restored as a modern analog mixing and tracking room. It features a 16-channel Rupert Neve Designs 5088 console, ATC active three-way monitors, and an attractive collection of vintage and analog outboard gear and microphones.
Studio B is Citizen Studios’ large, multi-purpose space. It features 17′ tall ceilings, an inviting mid-century lounge, and is ideal for tracking, remote broadcasts, video shoots/online performances, podcasts, and catered private events.
Recently, Ryan Gustafson of Dead Tongues mixed the band’s latest album Dust at Citizen studios.
