Join us at Citizen Vinyl during AVL Fest for live singer-songwriter sets from Lo Wolf, Jon Charles Dwyer, and Dave Desmelik; a lineup by Modelface Comedy, and a performance by Reasonably Priced Babies.
Garret Woodward (Smoky Mountain News and Rolling Stone) and Jay Moye (Asheville Stages and The Bitter Southerner) will lead interviews with Avlfest artists during Liner Notes: Curated Conversations. Interviews include Amanda Anne Platt, Hannah Kaminer, Crys Matthews, A.C. Newman (New Pornographers), Tyler Ramsey, Eric Earley (Blitzen Trapper), Justin Osborne (Susto), Randall Bramblett, Dylan LeBlanc, Scott McMicken, and a local Music Biz panel.
Hang out for music and comedy, and also enjoy lunch and brunch dishes, house-made pastries, coffee drinks, cocktails, and mocktails. As always, we’ll have a swoon-worthy selection of new and used vinyl to shop, plus art and merch.
“Farthest Star” is the second single from ‘Yesterday Don’t Fail Me Now,’ recorded and pressed at Citizen Vinyl.
The Blue Ridge Music Center and North Carolina Arts Foundation will host an information session about the Historic Asheville Sessions project from 5 to 7 p.m., Thursday, Aug. 15, at Citizen Vinyl.
We’re thrilled to introduce Side Project by Bailey — a new collaboration between Michelle Bailey of Smoky Park Supper Club and Citizen Vinyl.
