For most of us around WNC, it’s been a rough several months. What might make things at least a little bit better? A dance party! That’s why Citizen Vinyl and musician/composer/filmmaker Ben Lovett teamed up to bring back TIME MACHINE — New Year’s Eve Dance Party.
Tuesday, December 3, 9 p.m.-2 a.m. at Citizen Vinyl. $5 at the door.
This is the first time Lovett has produced his popular TIME MACHINE party in five years. That’s right: It hasn’t happened since the pandemic. But how better to bid 2024 adieu than to dance it out the door?
How TIME MACHINE works: Lovett will spin a new decade of music starting each hour on the hour.

80s at 10PM
90s at 11PM

2010-present at 1AM
Drop in for your favorite decade or dance all night. Plus, photo booth, specialty cocktails, and more! $5 at the door.
