Come Hear NC is an initiative of the North Carolina Department of Natural & Cultural Resources designed to celebrate North Carolinians’ groundbreaking contributions to many of America’s most important musical genres — blues, bluegrass, jazz, gospel, funk, rock and everything in-between. Our goal is to capture and promote special, authentic and compelling music stories in North Carolina (both past and present) as a cultural asset to its residents and visitors.
An annual, multiday conference and venue festival packed with networking events, thought-provoking panels, inspiring keynotes, hands-on workshops, and dozens of live showcases, Confluence is a must-attend, annual event for anyone in the Carolinas who works in music, or anyone who wants to stay plugged into the dynamic music scene of Charlotte and the Carolinas.
